Join TransportNET’s Urban Logistics Summer School at University of Antwerp, 15-26 August 2022
Get yourself immersed in the world of Urban Logistics: from basic concepts to special topics. The VREF support the event in granting 5 applications from low and middle income countries.
Are you curious to learn more about e-commerce, the changing retail and real estate landscape, policymaking in Urban Logistics, sustainable last-mile deliveries and many more? Then join the fourth TransportNET Urban Logistics Summer School, which will satisfy your curiosity! The summer school takes place on 16-26 August 2022, in physical form in Antwerp, with the possibility of joining online.
During these two weeks, the participants will gain deep insights into a wide variety of Urban Logistics topics ranging from economic, technological, and planning issues to modeling flows, IT, and data subjects. Practitioners and international academics with various backgrounds will teach these topics and challenge you for discussion.
The courses will be complemented with two excursions. Participants who intend to collect credits (3 ECTS) for their respective academic study programs can take an optional assignment.
Registration is due before 1 July 2022 or before for participants subject to visa requirements.

Among applications issued from low and middle income countries, 5 of them will be granted by the VREF: this will allow the participants to cover the travel fee, the expenses for visa and corona vaccination. The accomodation will be covered by the Summer School.
